Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the SMS text messaging programs operated by Lumara Home Care (Haven Care LLC d/b/a Lumara Home Care). By opting in to any Lumara Home Care SMS program, you agree to these terms.

1. SMS Programs

Lumara Home Care operates two separate SMS text messaging programs, described below.

Program 1: Caregiver Onboarding SMS

Who receives these messages: Individuals who have applied for or accepted employment with Lumara Home Care.

Message types: Onboarding portal links, document submission reminders, and employment application status updates.

How consent is obtained: Consent is captured through the signed employment application.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on onboarding stage, typically 2 to 5 messages per onboarding cycle.

Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details.

To opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

Program 2: Client Care Coordination SMS

Who receives these messages: Clients and authorized family members or representatives who have opted in through the Lumara Home Care intake form.

Message types: Caregiver arrival notifications, scheduling updates, and care coordination communications.

How consent is obtained: Consent is captured through the SMS opt-in checkbox on the client intake form on our website.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your care schedule, typically 1 to 4 messages per week.

Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details.

To opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. Opting out does not affect your ability to receive care services.

2. Supported Carriers

Our SMS programs are supported by most major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, and others. Carrier support is not guaranteed for all carriers. Lumara Home Care and its messaging service providers are not liable for delays or failures in message delivery.

3. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of either SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from that program. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. To opt back in, contact us at (551) 500-2054.

4. No Marketing Use of Mobile Numbers

Mobile phone numbers provided to Lumara Home Care are used solely for the program communications described above. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Privacy

Your use of our SMS programs is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued participation in our SMS programs after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
